"Fortunately" and "On Anza" are brand new songs from Caught In Motion, and are soon to be released on their new album, which releases THIS Friday! Banah Winn's vocals and guitar are matched perfectly with the supporting accordion and stand up bass. It was so magical having such a full sound in my bedroom!
Bay Area-based band Caught In Motion is a creative collaboration between founder & leader singer Banah Winn and Aaron Joseph. I met Aaron at his house party when Daniel Blue from Motopony was visiting SF! Aaron introduced me to the band and after a series of scheduling conflicts (mostly on my end), we finally got to have the band in my bedroom for show! It was worth the wait, they're sound is so familiar, yet unique from what I've had on this blog.
These are some of the most creative and prolific musicians I know! For their album release this week, the last ten weeks they've posted a take-away show-esque video per week, each is a track off of their new album. Check it out here!
Their record release is THIS Friday (Nov 18th) at Cafe du Nord in San Francisco! Come! It's going to be a wonderful show! AND the Family Crest is opening for Caught In Motion, a band that will have their IMBS post in the next week or two!
